Statement

All art is the search for meaning and the best art at its core resides in its ability to communicate and open a dialogue outside of the artist’s subjectivity. As a ceramic artist, I want my work to invite  interpretation, not categorization. I strive to make art that is intuitive and has the ability to move people emotionally and spiritually. I want to engage the viewer in a dialogue with the piece. The work should spark a thought or a fantasy. With the fusion of organic and abstract elements, together with a sensuous physicality, I seek to convey an earthy elegance in my work.
